Maddy is our Administrative Operations Manager at HK&A. She works behind the scenes to ensure that our clinical team has everything they need to best support you, the client, and ensure that the day-to-day operations of the office run smoothly.
Prior to her arrival at HK&A, Maddy completed an Early Childhood Education program at Fleming College as well as her undergraduate degree in Child and Youth Studies at Trent University. With nine years of experience in Early Childhood Education she built a career grounded in compassion, advocacy, and relationship building. She also became passionate about coaching and mentoring from a people centered leadership style.
As her work on the front-line evolved into leadership positions, Maddy discovered her interest in policy development, organizational well-being, and supporting employees in meaningful ways. This led Maddy to her current career path in Human Resources. Maddy is currently completing her post graduate studies in Human Resources Management at Trent University, where she is learning to blend everyday HR and operational experiences with emerging theories and best practices.
Maddy has a genuine passion for wellbeing and creating environments where people feel valued, supported, and empowered to do their best work. She has a natural talent for reviewing operational and administrative processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing changes that enhance both employee and client experiences.
Above all, Maddy is a dedicated learner and a supportive teammate. If she doesn’t have the answer, she is committed to finding the correct one with integrity, curiosity, and a smile.
