EMDR Intensives

Heal Faster • Feel Better

EMDR Therapy is an extensively researched model of psychotherapy that understands our brain’s natural way to recover from traumatic memories and events. EMDR Intensives are prolonged sessions that tap into this powerful healing effect and can be extremely effective in reducing symptoms of lifelong stress and/or traumatic memories in a shorter amount of time. Feel better, faster!

Benefits of EMDR Intensives

Time Efficient - Unlike traditional talk therapy that takes months or years, intensives take between 1-5 days. Typically, sessions begin at 9:00am and last until 5:00pm, with several breaks and an extended lunch. The number of days needed is based on your specific needs and individualized treatment plan.

Cost Effective - Intensives are concentrated and efficient. In the long run, you will require less therapy time because we address the memory once and focus the rest of our time together on processing and healing.

No Weekly Appointments - The traditional weekly talk therapy model is not a fit for everyone. The longer sessions allow for prolonged periods of engagement and uninterrupted momentum for processing the traumatic memory and reducing symptom intensity in a shorter amount of time.

Great for First Responders - Intensives can help heal past traumatic events and desensitize ongoing traumatic stressors.
