Cameron Maly, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

“I can be changed by what happens to me. But I refuse to be reduced by it.”
- Maya Angelou

Cameron is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) committed to walking alongside individuals as they navigate life's challenges and build tools that support their wellbeing. She aims to offer a grounded, collaborative, and compassionate space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to explore both challenges and possibilities.

Cameron brings a strong background in corporate training, wellness programming, and diversity and inclusion work across public service, community organizations, and studio environments. She has worked with individuals experiencing burnout, role overload, self-doubt, grief, and major life transitions. Through these experiences, Cameron has developed a strong capacity to help clients untangle complicated situations, identify their strengths, and move toward greater clarity and wellbeing.

Her therapeutic orientation is client-centered and holistic, drawing from a range of modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. Cameron believes that effective treatment is tailored to the unique needs and values of each person, and she works collaboratively to help clients build insight, develop practical tools, and cultivate self-compassion.

Cameron is in the final stages of completing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology completed at Western University. She values ongoing learning and reflective practice, and she approaches her developing clinical work with curiosity, humility, and deep respect for each client's lived experience.

Outside of therapy, Cameron is a Pilates instructor, lover of the outdoors, and devoted dog mom. She enjoys movement, travel and spending time with her family. She believes that joy and connection, even in small moments, play an important role in healing!
