Clinical supervision is a collaborative learning process by which an experienced practitioner provides support, guidance, and education to facilitate the work of another practitioner.
At Hiseler, Kelly & Associates, we offer clinical supervision/ consultation services across a broad range of therapeutic modalities, including EMDR Therapy individual and/or group supervision. In addition, EMDR Therapy group supervision is available to practitioners at our clinic, at local mental health agencies, and as part of EMDR Therapy basic training.
Clinical supervision/consultation services are directed by Registered Social Workers and Clinical Psychologists, for licensed healthcare professionals and those with qualifying status who require post-master’s supervision. The service creates a supportive and educational environment, allowing supervisees to grow professionally, to enhance their clinical skills, and ensure they are providing ethical and high-quality client care.
During supervision sessions, supervisees have the opportunity to:
Discuss and analyze client cases in depth
Reflect on different therapeutic approaches and the direction of psychotherapy
Explore ethical dilemmas and professional boundaries
Foster the safe and effective use of self in the therapeutic relationship
Receive constructive feedback to strengthen clinical competence
